Bisauli

Bisauli is a town and a municipal board in Badaun district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was formerly called Bansauri, which was ruled by Dude Khan who is supposed to be the last Nawab of town. Bisauli is known for its temples and mosques abounding the town. Some of the most famous temples in Bisauli are: Beni Maharaj Mandir, Hathora Wali Devi Mandir, Kali Mandir, Haathi waalo ka Mandir Gama Devta Mandir, Thakuran Mandir,sai mandir,and so forth.

Bisauli is a Tehsil in District Badaun which is now developing on a very fast and visible pace. A majority of people in Bisauli practice agriculture and grow a wide variety of crops-potatoes, menthol, wheat, barley, spinach, sugarcane, maize, melon to name a few.

Bisauli (Assembly constituency)

Bisauli Assembly constituency is one of the 403 constituencies of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India. It is a part of the Budaun district and one of the five assembly constituencies in the Budaun (Lok Sabha constituency). First election in this assembly constituency was held in 1957 after the "DPACO (1956)" (delimitation order) was passed in 1956. After the "Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order" was passed in 2008, the constituency was assigned identification number 112.
