Birlingham is a village and civil parish in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England, about three miles south of Pershore. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 325. It is situated on a loop in the River Avon, surrounded by it to the north, east and south.
Birlingham has a village pub, The Swan, a picturesque cricket pitch on the village green, and St James Parish Church.
The Court House is an 18th-century manor house on the edge of the village. Past residents have included Major Lord Charles Cavendish Bentinck, who was Master of the Croome Hunt, and Major General Amherst who sold the property in 1812 to the Porter family. The 11th Earl of Coventry stayed at The Court House in 1930-31 while his home at Croome Court was being renovated. Sammy Davis Junior and Peter Lawford rented the house in 1968 whilst filming ‘Salt and Pepper’ in Worcestershire.
