Bhagmati

Bhagamati was a mystic Hindu queen of Muslim sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah and is considered a myth by some historians. Qutb Shah was the fifth sultan of the erstwhile Qutb Shahi Dynasty who ruled over the Golkonda region of South India in the 16th century. Whether the old names of the city shown variously as Bhagnagar or Bhagyanagar relate to Bhagmati or not, also remains controversial.
