What is "betalingsservice"

Nets Betalingsservice is used in Denmark to electronically pay bills, a direct debit service. The service can be set up to pay subscriptions or other consistent expense. The creditor contacts its own bank and gives notification about paying bills through Betalingsservice, from there on the bill is inserted in the electronic system and automatically paid every month on the set date from the customers account. No fee is claimed for the service.
