What is "bauram"

Bauram is a big village (compared to neighbour villages) located at block/ Tehsil GodaBauram, Darbhanga, Bihar. Village is situated about 60 km east to the district headquarter and 10 km east to the subdivisional headquarter.
Area (raqwa) of village Bauram is about 2400 Bighas (961 acre ~4 sq. km). Along with many small and big grass fields, many gardens(Qalam bagh), several rivers and private ponds (for pisciculture), chirping of birds, teamers of pets (cows, buffalos, goats etc.), the big and clear blue sky gives a mesmerizing and bewitching effect to the village Bauram.

A majority of the person living in ' village Bauram' have involved themselves in agriculture. Mainly they grows paddies,wheat, barley, coriander, maize, moong, arhar, cucumber, sweet potato etc. In early days gram (chana) was also a good yield in village.
