Basouna
Basouna is a small countryside village in Saharsa district of Bihar, India about this village.
The legends say that it was established by followers of "Dharamraj, God of Truth". This village, however only 7 kilometres away from Distt. Headquarters., is underdeveloped with most of the inhabitants being based on farming. With the invent of Panchayti Raj, things have started changing of late. Now more and more people are getting rights conscious. Currently Basouna is part of Bharrahi Panchayat.
Also there are lot of people from Basouna who service in Indian army and contribute towards growth & security of India
