Barsaat (1949 film)

Barsaat (Hindi: बरसात, English: Rain) is a 1949 Bollywood film directed by Raj Kapoor. The film stars the famous duo of Kapoor and Nargis as well as Prem Nath. It was also the introduction of actress Nimmi in her first film role. Barsaat was one of the first major hit films directed by Kapoor. This success allowed Kapoor to buy RK Studios in 1950.

Barsaat (English: Rain) is a 1995 Hindi romantic film which was the debut of Bobby Deol (son of veteran actor Dharmendra) and Twinkle Khanna (daughter of late actor Rajesh Khanna). The film was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The movie was initially titled Jaan, later changed to Meri Jeet then Jeet and then Satwa Asmaan, before the Deols settled on Barsaat. Incidentally, after 10 years, actor Bobby Deol worked in same movie title Barsaat (2005 film)

Barsaat: A Sublime Love Story ( English: Rain) is a 2005 Bollywood romantic drama film, directed by Suneel Darshan. It stars Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra, and Bipasha Basu. The film is inspired by the 2002 Hollywood romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama. Bobby Deol is the only actor to debut with movie Barsaat (1995 film) and to star in same movie title after 10 years.
