What is "banesh"

Banesh (, also Romanized as Bānesh; also known as Bānish) is a village in Banesh Rural District, Beyza District, Sepidan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,904, in 688 families.

Banesh is located about 10km north of the ancient city of Anshan (Persia).
