Bakori is a local government area in Katsina State, Nigeria. It was created on 15 May 1989 out of old Funtua local area. Bakori town was made the headquarters of the local government area.
It has an area of 679 km² and a population of 159,371 as of the 2006 census. Moreover, it shares border with Funtua by the west and is a suburb of Funtua.
