Badnagar is a city, and a municipality in Ujjain district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India . badnagar is situated on the bank of river Chamla. Badnagar Tehsil Headquarters is Badnagar town. It belongs to Ujjain Division. It is located 45 km towards west from District headquarters Ujjain. 244 km from State capital Bhopal towards East and 72 km from indore .
