What is "azubah"

Azubah, meaning "deserted", is the name of two women in the Bible:

• Azubah (wife of Caleb), the wife of Caleb
• Azubah (mother of Jehoshaphat), daughter of Shilhi, and mother of Jehoshaphat, King of Judah

Azubah is a Biblical name meaning "desolation".

Azubah was the wife of King Asa and the mother of King Jehoshaphat of Israel. She was the daughter of Shilhi. (1 Kings 22:42, 2 Chr. 20:31)
