Awagat is a town of Jaranwala Tehsil in Faisalabad District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located at 31°9'0N 73°16'0E with an altitude of 175 metres (577 feet).
Awagat a very popular area as playing a central role to combine different areas. People from different small areas come here for their business and shopping purpose. People of different religion live together peacefully. Famous places are Canal rest house, Sufi Mubarak Ali Madarsa, khan Baba darbar, Ayoub shah darbar and cricket and football grounds
Govt higher secondary school awagat is one of the best and biggest schools of the district faisalabad as it is modern and well equipped school of the region with all facilities. hundreds of students of different getting their education. A well known Govt. intermediate college also present at awagat. Private school system also there like zia ul quran education system and others.
A 100 bed Govt Hospital is also located near awagat. There are two major private hospitals running ; 1. Rashid Hospital (Dr. Abdul Razaq khan) 2. Awami Hospital (Dr. Muzzamal Iftikhar)
