Tubularida \Tu"bu*lar`i*da\, n. pl. [NL.] (Zo["o]l.) An extensive division of Hydroidea; the tubularians; -- called also Athecata, Gymnoblastea, and Tubulari[ae].

Athecata \Ath`e*ca"ta\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. 'a priv. + ? chest, box.] (Zo["o]l.) A division of Hydroidea in which the zooids are naked, or not inclosed in a capsule. See Tubularian.
