What is "asuppim"

In the Old Testament, the Asuppim, translated "house of stores" in the Authorized Version and just "storehouse" in the Revised Version, was the house of stores for the temple priests. In the Authorized Version has "thresholds," "treasuries" or "assemblies." See also .
