Arumugam is a Tamil language film produced by Wonderbar Creations pvt.ltd , Chida.Shenbaga Kumar written and directed by Suresh Krishna, starring Bharath in the lead role with Priyamani, Ramya Krishnan and Saranya Mohan playing supporting roles. The film released on 25 September 2009 and was panned by critics as well as audience. It was a official remake of the Superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster Annamalai
Arumugam was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as an Indian National Congress candidate from Tirunelveli constituency in 1952 election. He was one of the victors from the constituency, the other being Somayajulu.
Arumugam or Arumukan is a given name for a male Tamils. Due the Tamil tradition of using patronymic surnames it may also be a surname for males and females. Arumugam is one of the many names of the Hindu god Murugan.
