Anthracosis \An`thra*co"sis\, n. [NL. See Anthrax.] (Med.) A chronic lung disease, common among coal miners, due to the inhalation of coal dust; -- called also collier's lung and miner's phthisis. See also the related conditions pneumomelanosis and pneumoconiosis ( black lung).
