Antelope Valley is located in northern Los Angeles County, California and the southeast portion of Kern County, California, and constitutes the western tip of the Mojave Desert. It is situated between the Tehachapi and the San Gabriel Mountains. The valley was named for the pronghorns that roamed there until being eliminated by bad weather in the 1880s and hunters. The principal cities in the Antelope Valley are Palmdale and Lancaster.

The Antelope Valley of west Lander County is a small, 25 mile (40 km) long, mostly arid valley in central Nevada, USA. A fourth valley of the same name Antelope Valley lies in southern Eureka County, east of the Monitor Range. The Lander County valley lies south of the Humboldt River and with Antelope Creek, is a western tributary valley to the north-flowing Reese River.

A much larger valley, of the same name in Elko and White Pine Counties, is a north-south valley surrounded by five mountain ranges, and lies on the east perimeter of the Antelope Range. A third valley that shares the name, lies in Douglas County and extends into California.

Antelope Valley (Eureka County)

The Antelope Valley of southern Eureka County is a small 35 mi (56 km) long valley, surrounded by four mountain ranges. Antelope Wash flows north, to endorheic flatlands at the valley's north end. Eureka, Nevada lies 20 mi east nestled among mountain ranges. From Eureka U.S. Route 50 travels west through the north end of the valley on a route to Austin.

Antelope Valley (aka "Dry Valley") in Nevada is "16.5 mi E of Monitor Valley and 10 mi S of Koben Valley, bounded on the W by Toiyabe National Forest, on the N by Bean Flat and Lone Mountain, on the E by the Mohagany Hills and White Cloud Peak, on the S by Horse Heaven Mountain and Ninemile Peak".

Antelope Valley (Elko-White Pine Counties)

The Antelope Valley adjacent to the Nevada/ Utah state line, and located in southeast Elko County and northeast White Pine County, Nevada is a 70 mi (113 km) long endorheic valley. The valley curves around the Dolly Varden and Kinsley Mountains, and the Antelope Range.

The valley is separated into two sections north and south, with an unnamed badlands region, (though labelled as such) between eastern mountain ranges on its central-east perimeter. The badlands are on the Nevada/Utah border and southeast of a small mountain area, Ferber Hills in Utah.

A large two-lobed playa region makes up most of the south valley region, and can be easily seen from sourrounding mountain ridgelines.

Antelope Valley (Millard County)

The Antelope Valley of southwest Millard County, Utah is a small long valley, adjacent the Ferguson Desert and southwest of Sevier Lake. The valley is just east of the Nevada border, with Snake Valley and the Burbank Hills. The other Antelope Valley of Utah occurs east in the Great Basin, in southeast Emery County and extending into adjacent Wayne County.

The Desert Biosphere Reserve forms the entire southeast, central & south valley border, where the small, low elevation arid Tunnel Springs Mountains are located.
