What is "amerasia"

Amerasia was a journal of Far Eastern affairs best known for the 1940s "Amerasia Affair" in which several of its staff and their contacts were suspected of espionage and charged with unauthorized possession of government documents.

Amerasia is an album by artist Terry Allen, recorded with Caravan, released in 1987 by Fate Records and reissued by Sugar Hill Records. It is the soundtrack to the film Amerasia by Wolf-Eckart Buhler. The album's liner notes were written by David Byrne.
