Amaziah or Amasias (in the Douay-Rheims) (, "strengthened by God"; ) may refer to:

Amaziah was a prophet from Beth-el ( Book of Amos 7:10-17). Amaziah forbade Amos to prophesy against Israel. Amaziah lived during the reign of Jeroboam II.
