Amalachaur
Amalachaur is a village development committee in Baglung District in the Dhaulagiri Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,055 and had 943 houses. On 10 November 2005, at midnight, an educator at Prithvi Higher Secondary School was kidnapped by suspected Maoists in Amalachaur. As of 2 December 2005, the victim was still being held in captivity.
