Alipherus
Alipherus or Halipherus ( Gr. ) was in Greek mythology one of the sons of Lycaon. He was killed, along with his brothers, by a lightning bolt, for his insolence. The town of Alifeira in Greece was traditionally believed to have been founded by this Alipherus, and to have derived its name from him.
