What is "alegranza"

Alegranza (, ) is an island in the Atlantic Ocean, located off the coast of Africa and is in the province of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is the northernmost point in the Canary Islands, and part of the Chinijo Archipelago. The island is part of the municipality of Teguise on Lanzarote.

Alegranza! is the second album from Spanish musician El Guincho. Club Fonograma named Alegranza! its 2008 Album of the Year, and the 9th best album of the decade. The album's opening track "Palmitos Park" was also named its 2008 Single of the Year.
