What is "albergen"

Albergen is a town in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is a part of the municipality of Tubbergen, and lies about 7 km east of Almelo.

In 2001, the town of Albergen had 1990 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.68 km², and contained 673 residences. The statistical area "Albergen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3490.
