Hawwash (Arabic: الحواش Al-Hawwash) is a large and widespread family originated from Damascus Gate neighbourhood of East Jerusalem, in Palestine.Al- Hawwash as a surname is also used, mainly in Arab countries. Other families with the AL-hawwash surname originated from Egypt and Jerusalem.
