Maharani Ajabde Punwar was a wife of Maharana Pratap, the ruler of Mewar. She was born to Rao Mamrakh Punwar, a noble of Mewar. Maharana Pratap and Maharani Ajabde married in 1557 when she was 15 and Maharana pratap was 17. Amar Singh I, the successor of Maharana Pratap, was born to Maharani Ajabde two years after their marriage in 1559. She was the great support to Maharana. Maharana Pratap loved her throughout his life. She was the shadow of Maharani jaiwanta bai, mother of Maharana pratap. She always loved pratap unconditionally. Maharani ajabde was the first & last love of Maharana pratap's life. She was the most beautiful wife of Maharana pratap.

Maharani Ajabde died after the Battle of Haldighati due to an injury. After completing 33 years of their marriage. At the age of 48 in 1591. That was the biggest shock for Maharana pratap. After her death pratap used to engage most of his time in Rajpath and leisure time he spend with his most beloved son Amar Singh and his mother Maharani Jaiwanta Bai .
