What is "agher"

Agher is a crossroads and townland in County Meath, Ireland. It is located southwest of Summerhill.

The only retail outlet in Agher is the local convenience store, which is a post office as well. The Nangle family has owned the shop for over 200 years. The shop was there in the 18th century.
