Agecroft

Agecroft was a manor of Pendlebury, in today's Greater Manchester, England where it today refers to, within its former grounds by the River Irwell: Historically part of Lancashire, as a district within Pendlebury, it formed part of the Borough of Swinton and Pendlebury. The main road through the district is the A6044 (Agecroft Road) which links the A666 (Bolton Road) on high ground in Pendlebury above the Irwell Valley to the A56 (Bury New Road) in Prestwich on the opposite side of the valley.
