Penduline \Pen"du`line\, n. [F. See Pendulum.] (Zo["o]l.) A European titmouse ( Parus pendulinus, syn. [AE]githalus pendulinus). It is noted for its elegant pendulous purselike nest, made of the down of willow trees and lined with feathers.
