Aegidientorplatz is a station on Hannover Stadtbahn lines B and C. The station is located beneath Aegidientorplatz, one the squares in Hanover Mitte. There is also an overground shelter, where lines 10 and 17 terminate.
Aegidientorplatz is Hanover Stadtbahn only station where one can change from B lines to C lines on the same platform.

The Aegidientorplatz, colloquially known as Aegi is a busy square in Hanover located above the U-bahn station of the same name. The square was named for the Aegidientor, one of the city gates of Medieval Hanover, which existed until 1780.
