Adamkhel
Adamkhel is one of the 8 sub-tribes of the Afridi that originated in the Pashtun region of modern-day Afghanistan and Pakistan. It is divided further into 2 main sections:-
- Tirah Adamkhel
- Darra Adamkhel.
Kalakhel and Jawaki of Tirah are the 2 sub-sections of Tirah Adamkhel. Tribemen of Kalakhel and Jawaki are still has a presence in the Tirah Valley. Darra Adam Khel Tribesmen migrated long back to their present location FR Peshawar and FR Kohat and has no presence in the Tirah valley.
