Adaalat (English: Court) is an Indian television courtroom drama anthology television series about a defense attorney, K.D. Pathak, portrayed by Ronit Roy. The first season for the show premiered on Sony on 20 November 2010 and ran for five years, ending on 11 July 2015. The series is produced by Contiloe Entertainment and stars Ronit Roy in the eponymous role. The show aired 431 episodes in its first season, becoming one of the favorite TV shows amongst the viewers.
Adaalat returned for a second season on Sony on 4 June 2016. Ronit Roy reprised his role as K.D. Pathak. Recurrences of other previously known characters are rumored.
The second season of the Indian television courtroom drama series Adaalat, premiered on June 4. 2016 on Sony TV. The show airs on Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Produced by Contiloe Entertainment, Ronit Roy reprised his character from the previous season. Tisca Chopra, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Rakshanda Khan and a host of actors stars in recurring roles. The execution style and the sets of the show will be more grand and will match international standards this time.The series is going off air after its 24th episode.
