Ad-Diba

Mohamed Diab Al-Attar (Arabic: محمد دياب العطار, born Alexandria, November 17, 1927), known as Ad-Diba, is a former footballer who played for the Egypt national football team.

He scored four goals in the final of the 1957 African Cup of Nations, which is still a record. He also scored the winning goal in Egypt's semi-final victory over Sudan.

After retiring as a player, Ad-Diba became a noted referee, officiating at the final of the 1968 Africa Cup of Nations.

In 2007 he was included in an initial list by the Confederation of African Football of the top 200 African footballers of all time.
