Acrid poison
Acrid \Ac"rid\, a. [L. acer sharp; prob. assimilated in form to acid. See Eager.]
Sharp and harsh, or bitter and not, to the taste; pungent; as, acrid salts.
Causing heat and irritation; corrosive; as, acrid secretions.
