Verdin \Ver"din\, n. [Cf. Sp. verdino bright green, F. verdin the yellow-hammer.] (Zo["o]l.) A small yellow-headed bird ( Auriparus flaviceps) of Lower California, allied to the titmice; -- called also goldtit.
