Želeč is a village and municipality ( obec) in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 541 (as at 28 August 2006).
Želeč lies approximately south of Prostějov, south of Olomouc, and south-east of Prague.
