Žákava is a village and municipality ( obec) in Plzeň-South District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 384 (as at 28 August 2006).
Žákava lies approximately south-east of Plzeň and south-west of Prague.
