What is "xox"

XOX Berhad , DBA XOX, is a Malaysian mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) founded in 2005. A mobile technology brand and mobile technology provider, XOX provides a huge range of mobile services starting from affordable rates to different consumer needs and wants as well as flexible payment and top-up options in order to cater today’s flexible consumers. The virtual mobile operator runs on Celcom’s 4G, 3G and 2G network.

XOX Mobile has about 850,000 subscribers. XOX Mobile sets its first benchmark by gaining the mobile number prefix, 010 by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commissions (MCMC).

By mid-2011, XOX has been listed on the Malaysian stock market. The company builds on its existing platform with differentiated services and content, while adopting a holistic approach with value added services for its subscribers

In the year 2014, XOX signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Information Division of the state of Penang as its official mobile technology partner.
