WWSC (1450 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Glens Falls, New York, USA, the station serves Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga counties. It is currently owned by Regional Radio Group, LLC and features programing from ABC Radio and Westwood One.
The station serves three counties: Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties; hence the call letters WWSC. WWSC originally signed on in 1946.
National syndicated programs heard on WWSC weekdays include Red Eye Radio with Eric Harley & Gary McNamara, America's 1st News with Gordon Deal, Imus in the Morning, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, The Dave Ramsey Show, Lars Larson, and John Batchelor. Local talk shows include Off The Rails with Gonzo Gates(Mondays from 1-2PM) and I'm In with the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce with Greg Chanese, Fridays from 1-2PM.
WWSC weekends include The Bobby Likis Car Clinic, The Weekend with Joe Pags, The Weekend with Gordon Deal, The Frommers Travel Show, Moneytalk with Bob Brinker, At Home with Gary Sullivan, Ron Ananian, The Car Doctor and Healthtalk with Dr. Ronald Hoffman.
Also, for the past 14 years WWSC has been home to local high school sports broadcasts; currently the team of Ken Leccese and John Pratt do football in the fall and basketball and hockey broadcasts the during the winter. WWSC's sports coverage has garnered multiple New York State Broadcasters award wins.
WWSC also is one of stations on the Adirondack Thunder Radio Network.
