WLKQ-FM

U.S. radio station La Raza 102 (exact location: 102.3) is an Atlanta FM station that plays Mexican music. It is owned by Davis Broadcasting. It is simulcast on WNSY 100.1 in Canton, due to WPZE being next door at 102.5.

The station was oldies Lake 102 until April 2004.

The former station "Oldies Lake 102 FM" was owned by the Joseph family: "Skipper Bob", his wife Jackie, son Mark, and daughter known by her air name as "Kay Mackie". During the 1990s, on-air personalities included names such as Ron Lucas (Ron Lapann), a former tug boat captain, Rick Dennis, Mike Lindsey, Steve Nichols, and Sue Ryder, who is still employed in radio as a traffic reporter for WSB radio under the air name Robin Reese. In its final years as an oldies station, personalities included Huey Lewis (McKeller), Vic Andrews (Cuvo), "Captain" Craig Kelley, Randy Robins, Karl Phillips and Rick Bagley (Ryan Bagnal). Lake 102 covered the high school game of the week announced by Mark Blumen formerly of WPLO AM 610 radio. Sideline reports were by Jeff Taves. The radio station sales department was led by Al Garner, once the manager of soul icon James Brown. The radio station operated profitably for many years and proved to be a valuable investment when the Joseph family hung up their microphones in favor of selling out to the demand for an expanding Spanish-speaking population within the coverage area of the station's former 6,000-watt signal.
