What is "vicforests"

VicForests is a Government Backed Enterprise (GBE) operating in Victoria (Australia). It was created - as a state body under Section 14 of the State Owned Enterprises Act 1992 - by the Victorian State Government, being declared a state business corporation on 18 October 2003.

The principal function of VicForests is to undertake the commercial sale and supply of timber resources from Victorian State forests.
