Udhayan (born in 1966) is a Tamil film director, based in Chennai, India. His birth name is S.B.Ramadoss. He has directed two Tamil action films— Vijayakanth starer Perarasu (2006) and Aayudham Seivom (2008) starring Sundar C. He has written screenplay for ARANMANAI(starer Sundar.C)and AAMBALA(starer Vishal)and ARANMANAI 2 along with Sundar.C. .

Udhayan is an Indian Tamil action film directed by debutant Chaplin. Starring Arulnithi, in his second film, alongside newcomer Pranitha, the film features musical score by saxophone player Kadri Gopalnath's son Manikanth Kadri. A Muthamizh Padaippagam production, it was started during Pongal 2011 and released on 24 June 2011 with mixed reviews.
