The is a train service operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) on the Kyushu Shinkansen in Japan since 2004.

The word in Japanese means " swallow", and has been used on a succession of limited express trains on the Tokaido and Sanyo Main Line in Japan since 1930.

Tsubame (supercomputer)

Tsubame is a supercomputer that operates at the GSIC Center at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. It has a peak of 2,288 Tflops and in June 2011 ranked 5th in the world. It was developed at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in collaboration with NEC and HP, and has 1,400 nodes using both HP Proliant and NVIDIA Tesla processors.

TSUBAME-KFC variant of supercomputer was ranked first place in Green500 rating with 4.5 gigaflops/watt.
