Tirecraft

Tirecraft was founded in Vernon B.C. in 1968. Two brothers, Jack and Alf Peters opened a tire store. The original store, named Peters Tirecraft, still operates today in Vernon after 45 years in business. The store quickly grew into a large tire retail and wholesale supply center shipping tires throughout the province of B.C. Today the Tirecraft chain has over 200 locations across Canada located in every province except for the Yukon and Manitoba. It is a Canadian conglomerate of Independent Tire Dealers with locations nationwide.

In 2007 Tirecraft won the JD Power and Associates Highest Overall Customer Service among Service Provider Brands under Canadian Customer Commitment Index.

Tirecraft offers licensed brands of Car Batteries, Tire Cleaners, and Rim Polishes and many locations offer automobile service in addition to tire services. Tirecraft is also the first tire retailer to offer nationwide commercial roadside service in Canada with their Tire Service Network (TSN).

The company was sold to investors in 2005.
