Tijara is a city and a municipality in Alwar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Tijara is situated 48 km to the northeast of Alwar. The nearest railway station is Khairthal. Bhiwadi is a census town in Tijara tehsil.This is the biggest industrial area of Rajasthan. Tijara comes under Ahirwal and dominated by Yadavs. Maman Singh Yadav is the MLA from Tijara.
