Thisisnotashop Gallery, Dublin, is a not-for-profit gallery founded in 2006 by Aideen Darcy.1 In 2007 Jessamyn Fiore joined the gallery as a co-director, going on to be sole director in June 2009 when Aideen Darcy stepped down as co-director.2
Thisisnotashop has exhibited works by Irish artists such as Wendy Judge 3, Gary Farrelly and Robert Carr 4 and established international artists like Gordon Matta-Clark and Fluxus artist Larry Miller 5.
In June 2009 thisisnotashop participated in the X-initiative's 'No Soul For Sale: a Festival of Independents' in New York6 7.
