What is "tecnotree"

Tecnotree Corporation is a telecommunications company, which develops and supplies messaging and charging solutions for operators and service providers. The company was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland.

In 2008, the company's net sales amounted to €77.2 million; operating result was €11.5 million. During the year, Tecnomen bought the Indian telecommunications company Lifetree Convergence for $46 million. The name of the company was changed to Tecnomen Lifetree, which in 2010 was abbreviated to Tecnotree.

Tecnotree's products are used by more than 60 operators in 13 countries. Notable partners include Siemens, Nokia, Nortel, and Accenture.

Tecnotree has more than 1400 employees serving over 120 operators globally. Tecnotree is listed on the main list of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. with the trading code TEM1V.
