Tayto Crisps is a major Irish crisps and popcorn manufacturer, founded by Joe Murphy in 1954. Tayto invented the first flavoured crisp production process. Tayto crisps are a cultural phenomenon in Ireland, and "Tayto" is used by most people in Ireland as a metonym for crisps. In November 2010, Tayto opened their own theme park called " Tayto Park" near Ashbourne, County Meath.

Tayto (Northern Ireland) Limited is a manufacturer of crisps and corn snacks based in Tandragee, County Armagh.

It employs 300 people at its plant beside Tandragee Castle (called " Tayto castle" as part of the advertising for the snacks) and remains the largest selling brand of crisps in Northern Ireland and the third biggest crisp and snack business in the United Kingdom. It owns the Golden Wonder, Ringos, Mr.Porky and Real Crisp brands.
