snowdrop trees
Halesia \Ha*le"si*a\ (h[.a]*l[=e]"zh[i^]*[.a]), n. [NL.] (Bot.) A genus of American shrubs containing several species, called snowdrop trees, or silver-bell trees. They have showy, white flowers, drooping on slender pedicels.
