Usage examples of "sicarius".

Azhure smiled apologetically at them as she passed, Sicarius pressing close to her legs, but she took a deep breath of delight when the Priestess led them into a cloister facing a delightful garden of lavender beds and low juniper trees.

Azhure said proudly, and Sicarius gave a great cry and bounded down the corridor, disappearing into the sunshine at its end.

But as the men rode closer, the group of hounds suddenly relaxed and Sicarius gave a short, gruff bark of greeting.

They followed close behind Azhure day after day, the leading dog, Sicarius, loping by her side.

A savage growl rumbling deep in his throat, Sicarius twisted his head a little and MorningStar whimpered in pain and sank to her knees.

Azhure, still in the early stages of labor, paced nearby, Sicarius shadowing her every step.

She had left him in their apartment with his grandmother and Sicarius watching over him.

After about ten minutes Axis spotted Sicarius trotting a short distance back out of the ruins.

She could dimly see Sicarius sitting at the bottom of them, tense and alert.

At her heels trotted Sicarius, scratched and bleeding from a dozen small wounds like most of his pack.

Azhure had left Caelum with Rivkah in the camp and walked only with Sicarius as company.

The Wolven and a quiver of arrows were slung over her back, and at her feet lay Sicarius, the rest of the Alaunt lying a few paces beyond the light of the fire.

Suddenly he spotted Azhure, Sicarius running at the heels of Venator, leading a squad of her archers into battle at the northern edge of the mass of seething soldiers.

She could not afford to be distractedfor any distraction might easily kill herbut in the next instant an arrow flashed from the Wolven, and Sicarius leaped for the throat of a foot soldier who thought to thrust his spear into her side.

Rivkah sat quietly in a chair while Azhure, still in the early stages of labour, paced nearby, Sicarius shadowing her every step.
