Seaview (Galloway, New Jersey)

The Seaview is a golf club in Galloway Township, New Jersey, north of nearby Atlantic City. The club hosted the ShopRite LPGA Classic in 1986-87, from 1998-2006 and again starting in 2010. During World War II, it hosted the PGA Championship in 1942, Sam Snead's first major title. The course also cooperates with Rutgers University on testing of new turf breeds and natural control of mosquitoes.

The resort has two golf courses, Bay and Pines, and a 300-room hotel with tennis courts, swimming pools, two mini basketball courts, jogging trails, a fitness center, and a spa.

On September 1, 2010, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey took ownership of the hotel and the Bay course.

Seaview (TV series)

Seaview is a British children's television series produced by the BBC in 1983.

Written by Chris Barlas, the series was a light-hearted comedy drama centred on a teenage girl, Sandy Shelton (played by future Most Haunted presenter Yvette Fielding), and her younger brother George (Aaron Brown) growing up living at her parents' guest house in Blackpool. Two series each consisting of six episodes were made between 1983 and 1985. The second series introduced a boyfriend for Sandy played by Mark Jordon who went on to star as PC Phil Bellamy in ITV's Heartbeat.

Seaview (football ground)

Seaview is a football stadium in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of Crusaders F.C. and Newington Youth F.C.. The stadium holds 3,383, and has a 4G playing surface.

Seaview has undergone considerable redevelopment in recent seasons, with new changing rooms, dug-outs and main-stand seats being installed. Three new stands at either end of the ground and on its southern side were opened in July 2011 to replace the previous terracing.

Seaview (film)

Seaview is a 2007 documentary film directed by Nicky Gogan and Paul Rowley. The film chronicles the lives of a group of asylum seekers living in the former Butlin's Holiday Camp at Mosney, Ireland. The film takes an innovative approach to the use to sound and image in telling the stories of the Mosney residents. This has much to do with the past work of the directors, which has been focused on video art and gallery installation projects.

The film premiered in the Forum section of the 2008 Berlin Film Festival and has since shown at many festivals internationally, including Hot Docs in Toronto, Silverdocs, Sheffield Doc-Fest, and the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo Film Festivals. The film was nominated in the best feature documentary category at the 2009 Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs).
